About Me

My name is Christopher Dodd, I've had a passion for building and woodworking my entire life. Throughout my career in the commercial and residential construction industry I've had the most satisfaction when able to build something truly unique with my bare hands for my clients. Whether it was a custom buildout or just a small display piece to illustrate my love of the natural beauty of wood and my relentless strive for perfection in every detail of my creations. 

Over the past few years I relocated to Cranford, NJ and started to dedicate my spare time to woodturning. I source only the finest of materials and use only purely organic non-toxic food-safe finishes made from the highest quality 100% white Bee's Wax. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I pride myself on every detail and I am methodical in my processes in creating each and every piece.
 

I do want to emphasize wood is a product of nature, and as such, no two pieces are alike and each piece is uniquely organic. Due to the nature of wood movement, slight shrinkage and expansion are possible and how you choose to utilize will need to be considered to ensuring it's beauty throughout it's lifetime.  If you have any questions on care and handling please feel free to reach out to me.
